# About the Journal

**An e-Journal of Archaeology and History of the Balkans in Late Antiquity**

Launched in 2025 under the aegis of the [*HAEMUS* International Research Network](https://haemus-network.univ-lille.fr/ "HAEMUS International Research Network") (*HAEMUS* IRN) and published by the French School at Athens (École française d’Athènes), ***The Chronicles of Haemus (CoH)*** provide an interdisciplinary and transnational perspective on the political, economic, and cultural transformations that shaped the Balkans during the transition from the Roman to the Byzantine era.

The journal welcomes innovative contributions in multiple languages and aims to foster scholarly exchange to enhance understanding of this pivotal region in European history.

The ***CoH*** is a fully digital, multilingual, continuously published journal that highlights the latest archaeological and historical research on the Late Antique Balkans.
